A Surprisingly Maneuverable Electric Wheelchair
by Dr Kevin Kwok
(The Medical Centre Clinic)
I used to think that motorised wheelchairs were very heavy, difficult to transport by car and lastly very clumsy to operate in a small tight environment. That all changed when I test drove the AT'M last week.
The AT'M is surprisingly agile and easy to operate in tight spaces. No fear of running over the furniture with it's fine control. Another thing I was impressed with is how easy it is to dismantle and how portable it is to load into the trunk of a car. This is a great help to family members who wish to have their elderly parents who need a motorised wheelchair to join them in family outings.
