My First Google Wave

I'm privilege to participate in Google Wave Preview. I've just sent my 1st ever Google Wave :)

Google Wave is Email 2.0

Hi Richard,

If email was invented today using all the Web 2.0 technology, it would look like Google Wave :)

Email was developed from physical snail mail and inherited the assumption that communication is disjointed. i.e. when you send me a mail, I have to wait for the mail. Only after I receive your mail, I can reply to it. And you will have to wait for my reply before acting on it again.

Google Wave simply makes the communication process CONTINUOUS, that's why it's called a "wave". It's like email, forum, instant messaging, wiki, blogs all wrapped into one.

I think google wave may have quite a good chance of replacing emails as the new paper trail in businesses.
