Facebook Marketing Tips for SME
I was surfing around facebook when I can across a local brick and mortar spa business called Inizio Face.Body.Spa, leveraging on facebook page to promote its services.
Inizio's facebook page was pretty successful as they have almost 500 fans and that the fans were asking VOLUNTARILY to be included into their mailing list!
Here's a few Facebook Marketing Tips for SME to take away from Inizio's example:-
1) Use Facebook Ads to drive visitors to Facebook Page, instead of sending visitors to main corporate site.
Inizio's main corporate site, like many other SME corporate sites, are not designed to be marketing centric and cannot effectively engage prospects' in conversation to build a relationship.
So to overcome this short-coming, Inizio leverages on Facebook page functionality to engage the visitors from Facebook ads and successful build a fan base of more than 470 members.
2) Post interesting photos and news from offline publicity to extend the reach and shelf-life of these events.
Inizio had publicity in a couple of magazines and they reposted these write-ups and articles on their Facebook page, which has the effect of allowing more people to see these publicity, even long after these publicity were done.
3) Offering special promotion to Facebook fans, that can't be found elsewhere.
This is the hook to increase the conversion rates of their facebook ads and also gave people a good reason to subscribe their mailing list. Because of this marketing strategy, Inizio build a loyal fan base and a good targeted email subscriber list.
