How to Build a Marketing Funnel
& Generate Endless Leads for Your Business

I want to share with you about "Marketing Funnel", which is a fundamental marketing concept that can have a huge impact on your net profit.

To put it very simply, all your marketing efforts are like a funnel. It moves your target market from being a visiting suspect, to qualified prospect, to becoming a paying customer, to loyal member, and finally to a raving fan.

Search Engine and Social Media Sites

The entrance to the top of your marketing funnel should be your visibility on search engines and social media sites. Building a theme-based informational website, based on a content blueprint, derived from thoroughly research list of tightly related keywords, will ensure good search engine rankings and drive organic free search engine traffic to your website.

Also, by building relationships and participating in conversations on social media sites such as Facebook, you will be able to attract your target market to find out more information about you at your website.

Theme-based Informational Website

After your target market found you either via search engine search results or via your interactions in social media sites, he arrives as a "visiting suspect" at your theme-based informational website, which is focused on providing valuable information that is of interest to your "visiting suspects".

At your website, you offer a free but valuable resource. It can be a free subscription to your newsletter, a free eBook, a free audio download. This starts to marketing process of getting the person to slide down your marketing funnel.

Email Marketing

You would want to collect the contact information of person who is interested in what you want to sell. By giving you his contact information, your "visitng suspect" has, in essence, raised his hand and says,"I'm interested to find out more about what you have that might help me." By doing this, your "visiting suspect" will become a "qualified prospect".

Once you've got the prospect into your mailing list, you have permission to email more information about the benefits of what you offer and how it can help to solve your prospect's problems. Your emails should deliver so much value that you move your prospect further down your marketing funnel from knowing you, to liking and trusting you.

Funded Proposal

Now that you have earned your prospect's trust by providing value to him first through your emails, you may recommend a low-price product to your prospect. The product should have a high perceived value-to-price ratio, yet at a low price to keep the risk low.

When a prospect makes his first purchase, he slides further down your marketing funnel to become a "paying customer".

Back-end Products

After your customer feels comfortable about spending money on your products and finds extreme value in your low priced product, continue to build the relationship through follow up emails, and you will be able to offer your back-end products to these customers. This is where you will make your profits and make convert your paying customer to a loyal member.

Notice how it starts with a free object at the top...then progresses to more expensive items. This is a way to ease prospects into opening their wallets over time.

Referral Marketing

Now that you have a pool of loyal members, you can work on turning your loyal members into your raving fans. Send them postcards to make them feel appreciate, or build a referral program that rewards your loyal members for referring new customers to you.

Who better to spread the word about your product that a satisfied customer, a loyal member, i.e. a raving fan?
