"The New Normal" team meets at SP Jain Center of Management in Singapore

I met up with David Wee from Asia Speakers Bureau for discussion on "The New Normal for Innovation, Technology & Leadership" that is happening on 16-17 November in Singapore. We are gathering a total of 9 thought leaders from various industries to share with business owners "The New Normal" that's happening post the sub-prime crisis.

This is the 3rd "The New Normal" planning meeting and this time round I met up with Fabrizio Battagilia of Futuremap. He just flew in from Korea after a meeting and is actively involved in helping government and organisations in planning for their future. It's really fascinating listening to him describing to me about how we should progress from planning for the future based on the past to planning for the future based on the future. He has an interesting methodology of connecting desired vision to scenarios to strategies. You really gotta meet this french gentleman!

"The New Normal" is the first time in Asia that futurists gather to talk about the future. Personally, I think it's a great step ahead for us in Asia and I'm looking forward to hearing from the rest of the speakers on topics on leadership, web 3.0, critical thinking, green technologies amongst other.
